HistoryMiami Museum (HMM) will facilitate a section of a teacher professional development workshop that will focus on Cuban immigration curriculum content. This workshop is part of a larger multi-day event for Miami-Dade County Public Schools. Teachers will work with resources related to Cuban immigration and folklife developed through the Teaching with Primary Sources (TPS) project, including oral histories from the HMM Miami Stories collection. HMM has been a partner in the Local Learning TPS project since 2021. Additionally, teachers will have access to photographs and objects on display that we will incorporate as primary sources.

More information will be available soon. Check back on this page for updates.
