Local Learning operates two WordPress websites, and, which are our primary system for sharing information with the public. Personal information that is submitted using the News/E-bulletin subscription form will not be shared with any other party but will be used to email the News/E-bulletin to subscribers. Likewise, information submitted using the Contact Us form will be used only for further communication.

Local Learning uses PayPal to process all credit card donations that we receive. Local Learning can access the billing information, such as name and address data, but not the credit card information associated with these transactions. For more information about how PayPal manages data privacy, see

The Journal of Folklore and Education is the journal of Local Learning. The journal site will be used exclusively for the stated purposes of this journal and will not be made available for any other purpose or to any other party. The data collected from users of this journal falls within the scope of the standard functioning of peer-reviewed journals. The journal’s editorial team collects such information only insofar as necessary or appropriate to fulfill the purpose of the visitor’s interaction with the journal. The data will not be sold by this journal nor will it be used for purposes other than those stated here. The authors published in this journal are responsible for the human subject data that figures in the research reported here. They are also responsible for securing needed permissions for any images or photographs that are included in their publications.
