Please join Local Learning and a very special group of faculty and mentors in Buffalo for artist and educator professional development. The training will happen August 21-22 at Erie 1 BOCES. Attending teachers can receive CTLE credits. Educators will learn that folk arts are uniquely suited to explore how traditional art forms reflect the history, aesthetics, geography, and values of different cultures and communities.

We are also looking for teachers who would like to host an artist for two classroom visits in their classroom. Artists will reflect a wide range of cultural art forms and part of the training session will include planning these visits. For more information, email Lisa@locallearningnetwork.org.
