To investigate the story behind an object from another person’s point of view, choose partners and take turns acting as both interviewer and interviewee. Select an interesting artifact that your partner is wearing or carrying or have the partner select something to share. Observe it closely as you complete this form. Switch, it is your partner’s turn to observe. Afterward, share observations. Note what assumptions were made, what was correct, what was incorrect, what surprised you, what the questions tell you.
